My favorite time of year is when the lupine flowers are blooming! This year was definitely NOT the superbloom we had a couple years ago as that is not an every year occurrence, BUT, the flowers were still gorgeous! Folsom Lake had A LOT more water this lupine season, so a lot of the sweet spots were underwater. There were patches here and there of lupines, so this is when you have to get creative and make the scene work for you! Lupine season generally starts in April, but was a little later this year due to all the rain. Be sure to get on my calendar if you would like to book a lupine flower session with me!
